Key vs. 7-8: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Commentary: If we are in a position of need, it is important for us to know that God encourages us to talk to Him. Many times folk will spend more time talking to everybody else about their situation, but the Lord.

James 1:6a- But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.

Matthew 9:20-22 Woman with issue of blood for 12 years.

Matthew 9:27-30 Two blind men crying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us.

Mark 10:46-52 as Jesus went out of Jericho, blind Bartimeus cried out, Jesus, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

John 15:7- If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

**ABIDE = Remain in His word! Obey His Word! **

Psalms 61:2- From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
