This is a poem that I wrote last night in about 30 mins. please let me know what you think about it.
Only So Much
My heart can only take so much
there's only so many tears that I can shed
If there has ever been a moment that I've needed you
it would be now as I lay crying in my bed
I can't keep on going this way
wondering if things will ever happen between you and I
All I can say is that I'm tired,
I'm tired of living this way, I'd rather die
I know I need not rush things
for the best things come to those who wait
All I've ever wanted was to have a chance
please god grant me that wish, make it my fate
So once more I'll lay here
finally closing my eyes as I try to go to bed
With all these thoughts and feelings
Girl I just can't get you out of my head.
