Did you know that if a child with autism goes missing, they do not call an amber alert? They dont qualify. The reason is that many autistic children are unresponsive to strangers.
As many of you know, my Bradley was diagnosed with asbergers, a high functioning form of autism. He will respond to you if you called him. many with aspergers will.
There is a petetion that is being circulated and it is an attempt to get them to change all this. If you would be as kind to sign it, it would mean alot to all parents of children with autiusm.
