I was just reading a magazine and came across a page titled "Words of Wisdom"
They were written by various people and I found some of them to be very good and wanted to share:
"Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle"
(It's very easy to get frustrated with people at work or in relationships. After reading these words, i realized that everyone has problems, everyone has a battle of their own. It reminds me to be kind and gentle. Because of this quote, I find that I don't have to react to what people do or say that hurts or bothers me. I just have to remember that they are fighting their own battles and need the kindness of others. J. Gregson)
"You were born an original. Don't die a copy." ( this quote refers to the pressures in society to "fit in")
"It is never too late to be what you might have been." (I really like this one)
"You will never be happy with what you want if you are not happy with what you have" (how true this one rings)
