Crappet! "Cannot boot from this cd."

I fixed my ThinkPad! That's good. 

It's not doing what I want...that's bad.

Trying to install Ubuntu (www.ubuntu.com) Linux, but it's not working. My stupid old thinkpad says "~ a bunch of tech stuff ~ Can not boot from this CD. Please insert CD2 or update BIOS."

My BIOS is right, just maybe I downloaded wrong installer. I wonder if my ThinkPad isn't an i386. Gotta check that out. Anyways, bye bye!

Fedora? Is that distro also free? Have a link?

My Ubuntu is in ISO. But, thanks Greg, I will try that.
