Hello Friends/Family,

Even if you aren't a Christian this new law could effect your rights as an American too. You all need to pay attention to what is really happening in this country!!!

I felt an urgency to empower you with the following information. In the past I had posted a bulletin titled 'A return path to abortion' and I will be posting more issues as they come to my attention. We need to understand what is happening in the darkness behind the white washed walls of Washington with some of our elected officials. It seems we have the same dilemna as Ezekiel did back in his day...(see Ez 8:12-18 below)

12 Then He said to me, "Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel (USA) do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, 'The LORD does not see us, the LORD has forsaken the land.'"

13 And He said to me, "Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing." 14 So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the LORD's house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.

15 Then He said to me, "Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these." 16 So He brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house; and there, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of the LORD and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east.

17 And He said to me, "Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me to anger. Indeed they put the branch to their nose. 18 Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear them."

Thank The Lord He has given us a watchman (Ez 3: 17 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel;(USA) so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked man, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn him or speak out to dissuade him from his evil ways in order to save his life, that wicked man will die for [a] his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked man and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways, he will die for his sin; but you will have saved yourself.)

The following is an e-mail I recieved from my friend Jay Sekulow (our present time Ezekiel). He is a very important voice in Washington DC for all of us people of faith. His organization is the ACLJ, it stands for American Center for Law and Justice is a d/b/a for Christian Advocates Serving Evangelism, Inc., a tax-exempt, not-for-profit, religious corporation as defined under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, specifically dedicated to the ideal that religious freedom and freedom of speech are inalienable, God-given rights. The Center's purpose is to educate, promulgate, conciliate, and where necessary, litigate, to ensure that those rights are protected under the law. The organization has participated in numerous cases before the Supreme Court, Federal Court of Appeals, Federal District Courts, and various state courts regarding freedom of religion and freedom of speech. When something is wrong, you speak up. In your family, in your neighborhood, in your church - and in the government. This is the American way.

But now Speaker Nancy Pelosi of the House of Representatives wants to curb your right to speak out. How? By re-defining the word ''lobbyist.''

Lobbyists are professionals whose job is to influence politicians. Their work is regulated by law, and rightly so. They have to register with the government and obey certain rules and pay certain costs.

But what if a Christian organization could be classified as a ''lobbyist''? What if your church could be put in that box?

Pastors would have to make a choice: either submit to enormously expensive and complicated government oversight ... or stop speaking out.

Most local churches, I can imagine, would have no real choice. They wouldn't have the money or hours available to follow the tangle of lobbying regulations.

They would simply have to fall silent.

Bottom line: The lobbyist re-definition bill that some in Congress are pushing contradicts the First Amendment to the Constitution ... and it will suppress Christians, silence churches, and stifle Christian organizations.

Our goal must be nothing less than to slam the door on this issue. Our constitutional right to petition the government - to speak out freely - must not be abridged.

Notable progress has been made. The Senate considered this idea first - we worked hard to oppose the lobbying re-definition - and we won this battle there, getting the most grievous of the regulations deleted from the bill.

But now, the fight centers on the House, where it will be even more difficult and intense. A faction of the House, led by Rep. Meehan, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and others, is pushing very hard for the most dangerous and restrictive parts of the bill to be added back in.

I am personally leading three senior attorneys and our entire Government Affairs team, working with Congress, on this important issue.

This is America - not the repressive regime of some communist nation ruled by a heavy-handed dictator.

This must be stopped! But we have to act fast. Please don't wait on this. We've seen how quickly Speaker Pelosi is capable of striking. The ACLJ must be ready to act instantly.

There you have it my dear friends/family...Please spread this knowledge to as many people as possible. And join the ACLJ today and help Jay (our present day Ezekiel) fight this good fight.
