Tears.
Of all the tears we cry,
No two are the same.
Some we'll never know,
And those we know by name.
Each of those tiny tears,
We do not cry in vain.
For each of those tears we shed,
Help to ease our pain.
Tears we shed in anger,
Tears we shed in fear,
Tears we shed for the sad times,
And those who are not here.
Sometimes we cry for happiness,
These are the best tears of all,
For a smile can soothe the hurt,
When tears begin to fall.
They say that tears are a weakness,
But don't be taken in,
For it takes a stronger man to cry openly,
Than those that cry within.
Love is the only emotion,
Stronger by far than grief.
But when our love is lost,
Tears can help bring relief.
