God of all compassion,
comfort Your sons and daughters
who live with AIDS.
Spread over us all Your quilt of mercy,
love and peace.

Open our eyes to Your presence
reflected in their faces.
Open our ears to Your truth
echoing in their hearts.

God of life, help us find the cure now
and help us build a world in which
no one dies alone and where
everyone lives accepted,
wanted and loved.

I  was reading up on some of the blogs I am subscibed to when I came across one that really caught my attention.It wasnt the whole blog that grabbed me it was one sentence " God allowed this to happen to me for a reason and I find good in all things, so I will be that vessel… to teach, to support, to love… "

Wow what courage it must take to use such a life lesson to edjucate others.I began to think about my daughters Godfather James and how he will never get to see her even  graduate from highschool.You see James died from AIDS the last time I saw him he weighed in at 90 pounds.It just sucked the life out of him.Me and Heavy was tight. We would hang out and party till the sun come up.Yeah I knew he was a homosexual but that was my dawg as long as he kept his buisness to himself,then we were cool.me and Heavy lost contact for like 10 months when I saw him at the party he was still big as a house weighing about 250-300 pounds easy.So to go from that to a mere 90- 100 pounds is a huge change.When I saw him again I just cried cuz I knew what happened already.We sat together and prayed and laughed at old times ( which was just a year previous).On the way home I was so upset I could barely drive.By the grace of God he made it another 6 months but he was like a zombie.

Look to be honest I dont know a lot about AIDS or HIV so if any of you have some links,info,or stories you would like to share about this subject please do.

I miss my homie so much and that is so hard to handle at times.Why cant they find a cure for this it is killing so many people at a alarming rate.

Anyway I want to know everything I can about this so please help me out.Share the wealth of knowledge.
