A very good friend shared this poem with me. It was written for her mom Alice who passed away in  Feb. 2002. She shared it & rededicated it for both our moms.  Thanks Deb, this means alot.
Home At Last
A Valentine For Our Lord
Dear Lord this year
we gave a valentine to you.
A very special valentine
with love thru and thru.
We know that we will miss her---
We already do
For this year on Valentine's Day
We gave our Mother to you
We know she's happy
With you right now
But we weren't prepared
For her departure somehow.
Knowing she's your Valentine
Helps us bear the pain
We know earth's loss
Was truely heaven's gain.
Our preference was to keep her
and hold her close once more
But someday we'll get to hold her
When we reach Heavens Shore

Wow,Mag, that is beautiful, could I copy it and save it with my Mother's pics......as she passed away  about 1/2 years ago, and I miss her so.

So Sorry about your Mother, So Sorry,

I know the pain you are feeling,

and I feel for you.

Know that I am also praying for the Lord to put his Loving arms around you, and  hold you until, you are at peace some with yourself.

I still cry almost everyday because I see things that belong to her, things she loved to eat/ but if was not for the Lord advising me that she sits with him now, at his table, they do things together, just don't think I could have made it......it is such a loss, but wither cancer, God had to carry her home to repair her poor body.

I am praying for you Mag.

Love Dove7......Leigh
