We could ask many people if they know God or say they are christians, but they deny God by the works that they do. Many people are Sunday Christians. They serve the Lord on Sunday,but on Monday they sing a different tune. I will be honest there has been times in my life when I have been a Sunday christian. Jesus must be Lord of all. He must be Lord everyday of the week.

Titus 1.16 says "They profess they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient to every good work reprobate.

Even though our works don't save us. It is by our works that prove whether we our saved or not. James said Show me your faith and I will show you my works.

What he was saying was my works prove that I am a Christian that Jesus lives in me, that I have eternal life.

If we are christians their must be evidence of fruit in our lives. The fruit of the Spirit as told in Galations chapter 5.

Let us examine ourselves to see if we are of the faith. If there is sin in our lives let us confess our sins before God and let Jesus' blood wash us white as snow.

There must be a change, there must be a difference. Old things have been past away, behold all things are become new.

We cannot have the same desires as this world has. We must come out from among them and be separate says the Lord.

Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Let us put on the armor of light and cast off the works of darkness. Because Jesus has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
