I realized, sitting in my kitchen, that Arizona summers aren't as miserable as they seem. Your first summer here, you feel like your being roasted alive. You second one is the same story, hot. But before you know it, they become more and more bearable. I've seen people come visit here, wearing shorts during the winter, while us that have lived in Arizona for a while are bundled up in sweaters and other things.
Arizona is a lot different from anywhere else in the US.
