I am a Pastor's wife. We've been in the ministry for 18 years. 7 years in Wyoming and 11 here in North Dakota. I homeschool our two kids. Pastoring is not easy, but God is good and has been so faithful.
LIKES
I love to garden, can, knit, sew, scrapbook, and do yardwork. I like having friends over for supper and games. I absolutely love snowstorms and blizzards! Good thing since we have record snowfall this year, so far this winter, we have had 75 inches! with more to come. I like playing games and cards. Favorite food.... Pizza! I also love iced coffee! In the summer, I like to camp and cook all meals outdoors using dutch oven cooking. Love Christian Comedies.

People who cry all the time, arrogant people, and those that are negative and complain.
It's great to hear from you! I wish I had some "clever and wise" comment that I could make that would make being a pastor's wife easier and God's call to ministry less challenging. Unfortunately I don't. It's a sad part of life that we life in a fallen world and even when we do the right things and follow the right path we are not immune from all of the pain life has to offer. All we can take refuge in is knowing just how AMAZING GOD'S GRACE IS and comfort in the fact that God wants the best for us, even when "the best" doesn't seem to be happening! I know all that SOUNDS really good, but it's not always easy to follow or understand. LOL! I struggle with it as well!!!!

Thanks for Requesting me! I happen to know a little bit about Pastor's wives as both my mother and my step-father are Pastors. What people don't realize is that although you might not be ordained, or on the church payroll - a GREAT DEAL is expected of the pastor's wife! You may not hear this very often but THANK YOU for the ministry that YOU are involved in!!!!
