I was born in South Dakota, but raised all over the U.S., being a "military brat." I was saved in 1978 and have been praising the Lord ever since! I've been married to a wonderful Christian man for almost 28 years. We have 3 wonderful children. Matt and his wife Shanda who live an hour from us with our 2 beautiful grandchildren. D.J. and his wife, Dawne, live in Texas. Sarah and her husband, Allyn, live 15 minutes from us. I've been a licensed Cosmetologist for 36 years and a licensed Cosmetology instructor for 18 years. Due to health issues, I had to make a career change so I acquired an elementary teaching degree and taught 5th grade until the Cosmetology instructor position opened up at the local high school. I'll start my 8th year in the fall. I went on to get my masters in Secondary Education Technology, and then became National Board Certified. My husband retired after 30 years of service with his company. He's enjoying retirement and learning about penny stocks. I can honestly say we've had a blessed life!
