MOVIES

I like movies which will make you think for a couple of days after watching it. It can be funny, sad or interesting, just something God would like to watch with me.Facing the Giants and Forest Gump are two great examples.

MUSIC

I like Christian Worship Music, at church we attend the service which has all the modern songs in Rock style setting.I have a variety of Christian Music Artists, but my favorite CD is from the ROBBIE SEAY BAND "better days".I like classical Music and Musicals.My favorites are Phantom of the Opera & Miss Saigon.

HOBBIES

To go hiking with my husband & our dog.To cook and enjoy with family & friends. I love to cook for potluck events, since I try to create something new every time.I love to go to the ocean, go swimming, ride a bicycle or go inline skating.

BOOKS

I like suspence novels.Also I love cookbooks, esspecially old ones and recipes from all over the world.I still enjoy reading books written in German.Of course the Holy Bible, but I am still working on it to read it from Genesis to Revelation in one year.

ABOUT ME

I'm married for 16 years and we have two girls, 13 & 11 years old. About 2 years ago my boss at that time shared the " Good news about Jesus " with me and I accepted him as my Lord & Savior. Ever since that day my life changed so much for the better.I regret all the years wasted living in the world and not walking with God.I pray that my girls will keep their eyes on the Lord and walk with him. Since I became a Christian, on Sundays my husband, both girls and I go to Church. I love to attend Bible studies and we belong to a homegroup with 5 other married couples.Life is just so wonderful having a relationship with God and Lord Jesus as your friend.

LIKES

I work at a Hospital and I deliver food to the patients.Sometimes I plate the food, sometimes I help prepare the food. I am sure it was Gods plan for me to have this job and I really love this job.It is a blessing to be able to make a difference in sick peoples lifes & their families. It is a great opportunity to witness and a blessing to be able to share my faith.I love to read & to cook, watch food network and like to walk my Golden Retriever "Schatzi" which means little treasure in my native German language.

DISLIKES

Talking on the phone is not my favorite thing to do. Maybe because of my accent and I prefer to look at people when speaking.I dislike disrespectful behavior including no manners at the table.Negativity and gossip around me are also not appreciated.Also I am disgusted by roaches, my daughters save me from them, I do not even like to look at them.I can not stand small confining spaces.

I am the light of the world, which I still do not walk in darkness but will have the light of the vida.Juan 8:12. I went to spend time with my kids at home for the elderly in the neighborhood. My little daughter came with a kindly grandmother looking a little sad, whose face suddenly brightened with a beautiful smile. Maybe he thought about one of his granddaughters who would like to see more often. Another regular visitor is going to that place to comfort those who feel alone. Although curved by the years, seems tireless. It is a selfless Christian: his gentle smile brings the message of God's grace. It approaches the elderly loners on behalf of the One who defines himself as "Father of mercies and God of all consolation" (2 Corinthians 1:3). She lives alone, but he knows that God did not leave. Did not he promised in his Word: "Until old age myself, and even the gray hairs you soportaré me"? (Isaiah 46:4). "He is ... who redeems your life from the pit, where you crown favors and mercies, which satisfies either of your mouth so you rejuvenate as the eagle" (Psalm 103:4-5). The benevolent presence of the visitor reminds everyone that God does not forget any of the more deprived of property and company: "Those who expect the Lord shall renew their strength ... shall, and shall not tire" (spiritually speaking, Isaiah 40: 31). Even if the age is advanced, we are certain that it is never too late to turn to him.

Hello my friend....Hope your weekend was a good one and you will have a great week. Just a funny little story I heard and wanted to tell it to you. A mother was having a hard time getting her son out the door and on his way to school one morning. Her son complained, "Nobody likes me at school. The teachers don't and the kids don't. The superintendent wants to transfer me, the school board wants me to drop out, and the custodians have it is for me. I don't want to go! You've got to go," insisted his mother. "You're healthy. You've got a lot to learn. You've got something to offer others. You're a leader. Besides you're the principal of the thing!" School....how we all need it but hate to go. We like the end results of an education but none of us really likes the process. And how about a word of appreciation for schoolteachers and administrators...then follow it up with a prayer for them. "SCHOOL DAYS CAN BE THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE...IF YOUR KIDS ARE OLD ENOUGHT TO ATTEND!!" "These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk aong the road, when you lie down and when you get up. (Deut. 6:6-7).

RUNNING RISKS Two seeds are sown together in the land. The first said: "I want to grow! Morning my friend...Hope your week went well! It has been simply gorgeous here in Texas..not too hot...not too cold...just right. This fall weather is sure agreeing with me. You have a great weekend and enjoy some R&R. I sure am looking forward to a little myself. I have been under the weather for some time now but today I feel better than I have in months. Truly God is a good, good God and hears every prayer that we pray and He knows our needs before we even ask. I am so thankful I met Him and His Son, Jesus Christ, years ago and they have been so faithful to me. I could never make it without them and the Holy Spirit to guide me through this life here on earth and especially during this time in my life. If ever christians need to band together and pray it's now before "Election 2008". Well you be blessed and do have a great weekend. Lots of hugs and much love to you today and always.
