1MAKE HASTE, O GOD, TO DELIVER ME; MAKE HASTE TO HELP ME, O LORD.
2Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
Moses, planted in the tent outside the camp, had a meeting with the Lord to intercede on behalf of the people, to consult the Lord, for dialogue with him face to face, as is done with a friend. To meet the Lord leads us to be able to know after talking about it from our personal experience with the Lord. Moses, according to his experience of the Lord in the bush, tell us that God is almighty, compassionate and merciful, slow to anger and rich in love and fidelity [exodus 34.6]
We also have our meeting places with the Lord: His Word and our fellow human beings, especially the poor. Those meeting places listen to the Lord, we celebrate our faith in him and we express our loving service and fraternal. Those who walk in faith born of that personal encounter with the Lord can only be in a continuous way of personal conversion to be a sign clearer and more credible of the Lord to others, the man of faith will also be in a continuous way of communion leading to the acceptance of others in the same faith and will lead to put themselves at the service of all charisms, and will be in a continuous path of solidarity with those who suffer from not only material goods but also spiritual. Leaving a meeting with God should lead us, therefore, also, to leave a meeting with our neighbor to express to God and always faithful [2 Corinthians 13.4].
God is with us because he is our Father through our union with Christ through faith and baptism [2 Corinthians 13.5]. Those who glory in having us as Father and live together with him must live unity with our brothers. That is why we must work constantly to our perfection in love, looking not only our own interests, but looking for the good of all [2 Corinthians 13.11].
Father God has expressed a great love that we have sent his own Son, which made one of us, we have united themselves to make us participate in his own life and his Spirit, so that we can continue his work in saving the world. Jesus invites us to live in unity and in fraternal love for the world to believe.
It is only when we live like brothers, and only when we are able to give even our lives, to win at all for Christ, we can be a credible sign of God's love for all mankind. Do not announce the name of God only with the lips, but also let us do our work, our attitudes and our life itself.
