I love movies based on true stories and inspirational movies. I also like funny movies. Cinderella Man, U-571, Saving Private Ryan, Dumb and Dumber, Anchorman, Old School, and many more....Oooohh! Goonies!!!

Jeremy Camp, Lincoln Brewster, Aaron Shust, The Katinas, Matthew West, Nicole Mullen, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Joe, Avant...just to name a few.

I like playing softball, basketball, and golf. I also enjoy doing a little yard work around my house. But I absolutely love watching my KC Chiefs on Sunday afternoons! Go Chiefs!!

Im reading "The Blessed Life" now by Robert Morris. Also "Atomic Iran" by Jerome Corsi, "Every Mans Struggle" by Fred Stoeker, and in my accountability group, we are reading "Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. After that book we are going to read "A Case for Christ" by I dont know who.

My name is Chris and I live in Kansas City, KS. Havent seen Dorothy or Toto around lately. Im a rededicated Christian. I grew up in a Christian home and in a Christian church. After graduation HS, I went off to Junior college on a basketball scholarship and got caught up in the parying, drinking, girls, and some pot. After two years, I was asked to walk-on at the University of Kansas (Go Jayhawks!!). This was a childhood dream! Well, I was living a dream, but at the same time I drifted from God. I wasnt attending chruch, I wasnt praying, I was having too much fun. I got to go to the Final Four in Atlanta my senior year (2002). We lost to Maryland which ended up winning it all but it was a pretty cool experience. After graduating, I moved to KC. Continued my partying unp until about 6 months ago. I got arrested for drinking and driving. Refused the breathalizer and now I am 5 months in on a year DL suspension. Here is the iroic part. The weekend before that happened, I attended church. As I sat in the service, I began to realize that I hadnt had much of a relationship with Christ in about 8 years. It hit me that this was the church I need to be attending. I told myself I was done partying...well, next weekend is my roommates last weekend before he moves to DC...Im dont partying after that. So not only did I decide to party one more night, I also chose to stay in KC on Easter weekend instead of going home to Wichita, KS to be with my family. And what happened, I get pulled over for speeding and for drinking and driving. Lesson here is that you cant bargin or fool God. Do I regret what happened??? Not one bit. I figure we all have situations or events in our life that help mold us and shape us. This was one of those events to me. Maybe I can use my situation to help someone else avoid the same thing. Anyway, that was an introduction to the last six months of my life. If you wnat to know more about me, let me know. I also have MY own SPASCE acct. You can fine me under "Uncle Zerb"...my sister just had he first son two weeks ago. You can view pix there.

I like basketball, golf, attending church, sleeping, my dog (boxer namned Mickey), and Im sure plenty more stuff I'll put in later
