In 2004,
TrueU.org was just a speck of sawdust in Blake Roeber's eye (see
Matthew 7:3-5). The purpose and need of this site was born out the fact that so many Christian high school students are going off to college with a superficial faith in tow, only to graduate with either no faith, a faith in a completely different religion, or a faith barely in tact.
So, on August 17, 2005, we launched TrueU.org in order to provide a place where college students can find
thoughtful resources,
honest conversation about the hard questions, and occasionally, a wry sense of humor.
Since our launch, we have had some great dialogues about such important things as various religions, abortion, homosexuality, the reliability of the Bible, relationships, and burkas. So, we hope you join in; we'd like to hear your thoughts.
