A Love Letter From God To You!

My child,

May My Grace, My unmerited favor, and My spiritual peace be yours, sent personally to you from Me. I, the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ has poured this grace into your life.

Praise Me! The God and Father of your Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed you, has given you every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms, every possible spiritual benefit as citizens of Heaven! All because you belong to Christ!

For consider what I have done - I chose you in him, in Christ - long before I laid down the earth's foundations. Before the creation of the world, I actually picked you out for Myself as My own. I chose you to be holy, to be set apart for Me; and I see you as blameless and unblemished. I chose you to be My child living within My constant care. I settled on you as the focus of My love.

In love I predestined you. I planned for you to be adopted as my son or daughter. My own child through Jesus Christ. You are My child in accordance with My pleasure and will--(What pleasure I took in planning this!)

I want you to enter into the celebration of My lavish gift giving, which I have freely given you in the One I love. I desire for you to learn to praise that glorious generosity of mine which has made you welcome in My everlasting love, the same everlasting love that I extend towards My Son.

So overflowing is My kindness toward you, so rich is My kindness, that in Him, through My Son, Jesus Christ you have redemption. That redemption or payment for your sins was costly. It was at the cost of My Son's own blood.

And you have forgiveness of sins. You are free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all your misdeeds. All of this is in accordance with the riches and the generosity of My gracious favor that I lavished on you. I showered My kindness on you with all wisdom and understanding.

And I made known to you the mystery of My will. I have allowed you to know the secret of My plan. It is a plan centered on Christ, designed long ago according to My good pleasure. And this is My plan: At the right time I will bring everything, all things in heaven and on earth together under the authority of Christ.

And here is the staggering thing - In Him, in Christ, you were also chosen, having been predestined according to My plan; and I work out everything in conformity with My purpose of will, in order that you might be for the praise of My glory.

And when you believed in Christ, I identified you as Christ's own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom I promised long ago. You were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a guarantee of purchase; or a deposit guaranteeing your inheritance until the day when I complete the purchase of what Christ has paid for as His own; the redemption of those who are God's possession.

As for you, you were spiritually dead, dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you habitually followed the ways of this world, doing what you felt like doing, when you felt like doing it. You drifted along on the stream of this world's ideas of living, and obeyed Satan, the mighty prince of the power of the air. All lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of your sinful nature; following the impulses and imaginations of your evil nature. You lived out your life in the cravings of your flesh, indulging the desires of the mind. You were born with an evil nature, and you were under My anger just like everyone else.

But, because of I am so rich in mercy and have great love for you; in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which I love you, I made you alive with Christ even when you were dead in transgressions-- it is, remember, by grace and not by achievement that you are saved. It is only by My special favor that you have been saved!

I raised you up with Christ and seated you with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, giving you joint seating with Him. All because you are now one with Christ Jesus.

I raised you and seated you in Christ, at the right hand of God. And I would say to you now that I did that: so that I can always point to you as examples of the incomparable, limitless, surpassing riches of My grace; the incredible wealth of My favor and kindness toward you, as shown in all I have done for you through Christ.

Saving you was all My idea, and all My work. It is by grace you have been saved, through faith-- It was nothing you could or did achieve - it was My gift from start to finish to you!

Salvation is not a reward for the good things you have done. It is not by works, so no one can pride himself upon earning the love of God. You are My own workmanship, created anew in Christ Jesus to do good works, which I prepared in advance for you to do.

Out of the rich treasury, out of the glorious unlimited riches of My resources, may you be strengthened, may you have mighty inner strength through My Spirit living within your inner being. May Christ dwell in you, may He settle down and make His permanent home in your heart through faith.

I desire that you are rooted, rooted deep and established, firmly fixed in My love. And that you will have the power, together with all Christians, to know and grasp how wide and long and high and deep is that love.

May you really come to know this love that surpasses knowledge. It is so far beyond your comprehension -- May that infinite love fill all your inner being with Me€with the fullness of God himself!

I attend First Baptist Church of Warrensburg and it is great! I have not had a church spiritually feed me such as this one does in a very long time in my life.

Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day." John 6:35-40

Fire My Words

I know that may have surprised a few on here but it's true, I'm not a religious man. When I think of religious people I think of people who are more into celebrating denominational doctrine and celebrating God. I think of prayers for the sake of saying prayers rather than conversing with God. These are not me. What I am is a Christian, a born again, Bible believing, filled with the Holy Spirit Christian. In the 70's I was called a Jesus freak. I think back on that time now and what a compliment that was. People of the world telling me that I was "freakish" over Jesus. What a powerful witness for Christ that is. That when you walk into somewhere the first thing that comes to people's minds is that you're a Jesus freak.

Times change in this world and terminology changes with it. We now live in the time of "political correctness" and don't often hear descriptors like Jesus freak, too bad. I believe in the power of prayer. Prayers are answered by God. I believe that the Bible is the "living word of God", its promises were meant for those of the past, us today, and for the future as well. I've seen the change in my life and can only give one account as to why it's happened. The Holy Spirit working in me and changing me into the man I was meant to be, was called to be, was created to be! We all were created for a purpose, to serve and praise God. Everything else is secondary.

What I've found since I rededicated my life to Christ is how much easier my life has become. I used to worry about money, my job, my friends, relationships. I was totally wrapped up in worry. How much easier it has been to give that all up to God and just say, "God, I can't do it, I just give all of this up to you and trust in you to provide for me." It's like a huge weight taken off my shoulders. I will consider myself truly blessed when I walk into a room and people think to themselves, "What a Jesus freak."

Hi, my name is Tim. I've been a police officer for the past twenty years and loved it. Currently I'm assigned to the local school district as a school resource officer, a job I have found to be the most rewarding in my police career. I've worked within patrol division and as a member of the SERT team. Now that is what I do, this is who I am. I'm a Spirit filled, Bible believing, son of the only God and loving it! I prayed the prayer of salvation in 1974 and love the fact that I have an entire family of brothers and sisters to get to know and share my faith with. In May of this year I was fortunate enough to be able to renew my faith in God and rededicate myself to living the Christian life.
