I like anything from Pixar. I would have to say my favorite all-time movie is "Cars". I'm the guy who rarely goes to movies in the theater, but I had to see that one 3 times.
Most movies these days aren't worth watching anyway - when you're trying to live a Godly life. Consider it a blessing when you find something you can watch with your kids and NOT be offended with inuendos and references that kids shouldn't be hearing anyway.

Before I was saved by the grace of Jesus in 1989, I was very deeply entrenched in the 80's heavy metal scene. Testament, Metallica, Anthrax, Armored Saint, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Queensryche, and on and on - etcetera. I also enjoyed Steely Dan, Dire Straits, REO Speedwagon and Molly Hatchet. (If you think my musical tastes are weird, you're probably right!)
I have found the Christian music world to be literally FILLED with all kinds of music that I enjoy. Being a worship leader at my church, I am constantly listening to various forms of praise and worship music in the never-ending search for fresh worship music.
Some of my favorite worship artists are: Paul Baloche, Chris Tomlin, Ross Parsley, Don Moen, MercyMe, and the New Life Worship Team.
It is always my desire that when I come down from the platform on Sunday morning, the congregation knows that they have touched the hem of HIS garment, and that I have become invisible to them.

I have been playing guitar since I was 13 years old. If you compare my age (revealed elsewhere on this page) and do the math, you'll come up with the number of years I've been banging away on this thing. It's one of the very few things besides BREATHING that I've ever done as long... so that must mean that I enjoy it!
In 1993 I purchased a Charvel 625C acoustic electric and fell in love with it. I'd been playing worship and performing with it up until about 2004 when I stumbled over a Charvel 625F model on eBay. It's essentially the same guitar, but instead of a spruce top with sound hole, the "F" model has a beautiful solid maple face which virtually eliminates feedback (see pix of it in the slideshow). My luthier added an Earvana compensated nut and bone saddle which just topped it off! This thing is a dream to play.
As far as electrics go, I am a Jackson player through and through. I hold the opinion that they are the best solid body electric guitar money can buy. I currently have a 2004 Jackson SL1T Soloist in Amber Lagerburst (string-thru, neck-thru, & handmade), and a 1985 Stratocaster that I got in '89 and immediately hot-rodded with active electronics.

The SL1T is my main instrument, as it's absolutely the most versatile in tone. With two single coils and a humbucker (all passive), and a 24 fret neck that's slick as ice, there's almost no tone I can't emulate with this axe. I run through a Boss GS-10 effects processor, then into a Crate 150w powerblock amp, and finally into the sound system at church. If you had your eyes closed, you might think I was playing out of a full stack with a huge poweramp driving the whole thing. (Of course, for worship sets we definitely believe in moderation!)
The Strat gives completely different tones than the Soloist. It's setup with Seymour Duncan Classic livewires (active pickups). Since they're driven by 2 nine-volt batteries, these pickups are extremely hot, but the clarity of sound is incredible. I got the idea for this setup in 1989 from Dave Pritchard, the original guitarist for Armored Saint. (Anyone old enough to remember them?)

I have been married to Tiffani, my best friend on earth, since August 1987. We have 6 kiddos, ranging in age from 21 years down to just over a month. (Yes, we spread them way out!) Our 21 year old son and 19 year old daughter have now moved out on their own, and we have only the little ones to care for. We have started all over again, and the blessings are immeasurable! Our newest blessing (Josiah Doran) was born on January 3rd, 2008.
I am the Sunday Lead Worshipper at Calvary Chapel of Manassas (Virginia). I've been playing rhythm guitar since my early teens, but only been singing in public for a few years. It's about the same with my lead guitar playing... I enjoyed being the rhythm guy so much that it's all I did for 25 years. I've only recently started delving into little lead riffs and stuff. I'm completely self-trained, and play by ear. I've never had a guitar lesson, and I can't read a note of music... but for some reason, God chooses to use me anyway. Who can understand His ways? ;-)
My wife and I have been faithfully attending church at CCoM since November 1998. We used to live 2 miles from the church, but in early 2004 we moved 90 miles away because of my job. For almost two years after I moved, I still had to answer the question from various congregants "so when are you leaving the church?" The answer is "we're not!"
When you're getting fed God's Holy and True Word, and the worship is fulfilling and righteous, then you stay there. As the saying goes, "You bloom where you're planted." The 90 mile drive is merely an inconvenience, which my family has gotten used to. It's all highway miles too, so it's a relatively quick run every Sunday. NOT a big deal!
Some people will drive 100 or more miles to shop in their favorite mall, and others will drive for hours to see their favorite band or sports team... so why is it that so many people think I'm crazy for driving that far to meet with the Creator of the Universe??? (I guess it's all in what's important to you...)
Those of you who complain that driving to the next town to attend a GOOD church is too much... I say "Bah! Humbug!" ;-)

People who have a bad day for the sake of having a bad day. Those who make others around them miserable simply because they can.
Churches who hold to the doctrine of "I'm ok, you're ok." They refuse to call sin what it is... SIN! ("So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth." Revelation 3:16 NASB)
