I am 46, married to hubby for 28 years, have 3 daughters (21, 23 and 25) and 2 grandchildren (from my oldest daughter).
I had a pretty hard childhood. I was an only child and my mother developed brittle diabetes during her pregnancy with me. Her diabetes was uncontollable from the beginning and it slowly destroyed every organ in her body. She died at the age of 31 after almost 3 years in the hospital. I was 11 at the time. Most of my childhood memories are of my Mom's illness and time in the hospital.
I walked down the aisle and asked Jesus into my heart when I was 8. Then again, when I was 12, and that time I was baptized in a Baptist Church. I got very involved in youth group activities and spent every spare minute in church during my teen years. So, although I've had many backslides in my years, I've been a Christian at least 34 years.
This world is not my home. I know we're just passing through and home is in Heaven with Jesus. If you need to label me, I'm probably Evangelical. But I prefer Christian, pure and simple.

I am a member of the vast right wing conspiracy. A true Conservative that wants someone with the same values in our White House. I am an avid troop supporter. I believe in the rights given to us in the Constitution. I believe that prayer changes things. I believe that God has protected our country because we were founded as One National Under God, and have protected His people, the Jews. When we forget those things, I believe He will lift His hand of protection from our country. I am a pro-life, anti-U.N., pro-Christian, politically incorrect, Southern Belle who wishes the feminist movement and hippies had never happened! I bleed red, white and blue and am willing to defend my country to my death!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your many blessings, and help me to be content with Your daily provision in my life. May we all be content with Your daily provisions. Thank You for Your wonderful gifts of love, joy and peace, which cannot be purchased with any amount of money. I am most grateful. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
