O Emmanuel, Jesus Christ,
desire of every nation,
Savior of all peoples,
come and dwell among us.
I am a divorced mother of one - a boy who will officially become a teenager next month.
Our home sits way back off the road and is nestled just inside the woods, so there are plenty of things for my cats to get into (although they've been spending more time under the house than in the woods).
My son had gone out there a few times and said that he'd seen a black bear cub twice (once in our game room/laundry), and you know - where there's a cub, there's a mama. I hadn't seen anything other than a frog, squirrels, birds, and the neighbors' cats and dogs, but I certainly didn't dispute my son's findings. I was sure there was plenty of wildlife out there, but I knew that the bear was actually a large house-cat with just a stub of a tail, so I'll let him believe it was a bear cub until he saw otherwise.
