WHO WE ARE: Moses Project is a Christian ministry working with children in risk (poor, sexual abused, from alcoholic families) and their families in Quito-Ecuador, sharing with them the Gospel.
The Project was founded in 1990 under the name FAIDES. Many children and teenagers got to know God and their lives were changed. After 11 years the Project was going to be closed.
In 2001 Maria Belén Hinojosa became the leader of the project, she came with a new and fresh vision for serving God. Now around 30 children attend Moses Project regularly, they come from the slums and poor areas in Quito. Some of them have been sexually abused. Others come from families with many problems, like alcoholism or drug abuse
Moses Project is also a member of Viva Network in Quito-Ecuador. Viva Network is the connection for being in contact with other Christian ministries, with whom we share some activities, programs and resources. In that way we can reach more people for God.
Moses Project survives with just a few donations and the help of a couple of volunteers.
