"In Boston they ask, how much does he know? In New York, how much is he worth? In Philadelphia, who were his parents?â€
Samuel Langhorne Clemens

I am at least a fifth generation genealogist and have been actively researching family histories for over thirty years now.
My passion for genealogy began innocently enough as a fourth grade homework assignment, and grew from there.
What makes my interest in the subject even more interesting (for me anyway) is that I look almost exactly like the earliest known genealogist in my family (my maternal grandfather's maternal grandmother), whom I have always felt a strong connection to.
I was born Bristol, and raised in Langhorne, Doylestown, and Levittown, Pennsylvania.
Yes, there are Levittowns in Pennsylvania, New York, Puerto Rico, and other places, including Willingboro, New Jersey.
Willingboro is just twelve miles from Levittown, Pennsylvania, and 107 miles from Levittown, New York (which is 104 miles from Levittown, Pennsylvania).

Remember, O Lord, the God of Spirits and of all Flesh, those whom we have remembered and those whom we have not remembered, men of the true faith, from righteous Abel unto to-day; do thou thyself give them rest there in the land of the living, in thy kingdom, in the delight of Paradise, in the bosom of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, our holy fathers, from whence pain and sorrow and sighing have fled away, where the light of thy countenance visiteth them and always shineth upon them.
The Liturgy of St. James
