In the beginning, almost the beginning of time itself, I was born into a family of eventually eight children, I was number 4 of six girls and two boys. We were country bumpkins raised in the farmlands of Michigan. No running water, no formal bath, just the basics, but we had a great life & never lacked for excitement. My mom was, (and still is) the heart and soul of our family. Really don't know how she did it all. Try washing clothes for ten people without running water and an old maytag wringer washer and two tin rinse tubs. Some of you won't even know what I am talking about. Our only heat was a large pot bellied coal burning stove which sat in the middle of the living room which burned red hot at times. I slept upstairs and in the cold mornings I remember hugging the warm chimney which rose up through the middle of our room. All of us children had free run of the acreage surrounding our house which we made full use of. We lived and played outside as long as the weather allowed. I don't even remember having tv until I was in school. Even then, it was only occasional entertainment. It was a much different world in those days, a much nicer and safer place to live.
We eventually moved south to Florida, where my grandparents lived, and when I was 12 we remained there. Now we had all the luxuries of civilization, including running water!! It was quite a different setting. No snow in winter was about the only thing that seemed weird. I lived there until I graduated high school, & shortly afterwards began my journeys across America.
TODAY, I am an average wife, mom and homemaker, living in the midwest, (don't ask me how I got here). I have three almost grown kids and a terrific live-in grandson and I love them immensely. Only three at home now, including my grandson.
In 1997 I married my wonderful husband who had 4 children of his own and now they are mine too, even though they are all grown and have children of their own. My hubby is a great dad, grandad and husband. I know I was so lucky to find him. When both families get together, we are quite a crowd. My kids are my heart, even though they will all be out on their own soon, and it will kill me.
I am a born again, believer in Christ since the age of 18 and I love my Savior and my church and church family. I am just a regular person with the same problems and flaws as everyone else, but God is my anchor and strength and gives my life direction and hope.
I like to bake and decorate cakes and I keep busy doing that.
I am into herbs and natural remedies rather than the chemical, brain frying drugs that doctors peddle today. My kids think I am crazy but I guess that's normal. I like to ebay, mostly buy, sometimes sell.
My time with my Lord and spiritual life become more and more alive and real and important to me as I grow older. I am striving to grow closer to HIM and love HIM, (just as he asked Peter, "Do you love me?" He asks me the same and I have to look inside and ask myself the same.)
WHAT AN AWESOME AND LOVING GOD WE HAVE!!!!!!!!!! Blows my mind that he really loves me!!!!!!!!
He is teaching me everyday to let go of the "STUFF" in my life and become the woman that he originally designed me to be. Yeeeeehaaaa!!!! :)))))))
That's my story!!!!!!!! :)

I thank all my friends who visited www.jcfaith/bcmindia. I was extremely busy with the Summer camp2007. "Sing a New Song"! was our theme! 125 kids, 9 teachers, 3 Children workers, 7 cooks joined with the Lord in reaching the 125 kids who stayed with us for 8 full days! We are experiencing an unusual hot summer and in our campus we do not have water! With many setbacks and challenges, the camp was successful! The kids and the rural pastors now went back to their churches! We will follow up. Your prayers are needed. Now I am struggling with unpaid bills. Before the next Summer Camp in May 1-10th; 2008; We need more buildings, toilets and bathrooms in our campus. Pray that the Lord may provide them before our next summer camp; God willing from 1 may to 10th May-2008.How do you write one letter and post to all friends, with out going to their individual web-sites?
