I like the OLD movies (silents through 40's). There's afew newer ones, although, I guess they're not that nea any more. Gone With the Wind, Dr. Zhivodo, etc. I especially like silent films with Ernest Torrance in them since he is some kind of cousin to one of my grandmothers. Every time I see his flashing eyes I see her. Of course, I LOVE my Bible based movies, too.

Helping Papa upgrade our home, our flowers and trees. I love embroidery work, sewing, some knitting, etc. and, of course, reading my Bible and Bible study literature. I've also been known to do some crafting.

First and foremost my Bible then my Bible literature. After that maybe a Better Homes and Garden and Backyard Gardening.

I am very deeply in love with my husband, Allen. We all call him Papa. He is 12 1/2 years younger than I but we are very compatible. We have a lot of things in common. I took care of my parents until their deaths (10 1/2 years). The last year-and-a-half of my mother'slife Papa was there to help me. This is when I REALLY discovered how loving and devoted he is. We are both disabled but keep trying.
Between us we have eleven children; 3 grown sons of mine, 4 girls of my former husbands who I helped raise and have always considered them mine and Papa's 2 girls and 2 boys. Between us we have 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. (I lost one of my daughters, at someone else's hands, in 1976 and we lost one great-granddaughter in 2005.)
We both have a deep and firm belief in Our Heavenly Father and His Son and Our Savior, Jesus Christ. We have been through many difficult times and know, without a doubt, had it not been for our strong faith we would not have made it through the darkest of times. And with each "episode" we go through our love for each other and for God grows stronger. I've not always been as faithful to God as I should have been and would have liked, but through His love and Grace, I will continue to build on my faith. I dedicated my life to God in 1967 and it seems there is one stumbling block after another. But I am a FIRM believer that He doesn't pull away from from us due to our shortcomings. He will NEVER pull away from us; we are the ones who pull away from Him. He will give the continued strength and courage I need to face all obsticales put before me. People often ask why Christians seem to have a more difficult time than non-Christians. My answer to this is Satan is there at ALL TIMES trying to entice and lure us away from Jehovah. At Romans 5:8 &9 we find that we are to "keep our senses, be watchful. Your adversary, the Devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking to devour [someone]. But TAKE YOUR STAND AGAINST HIM, SOLID IN THE FAITH, knowing that the same things in the way of sufferings are being accomplished in the entire association of your brothers in the world."

Papa and I enjoy our home, even though, it may be small by some people's standards. It's our's and we love it! We love working together on the inside and outside. We completed many projects and have many more ahead. We love our various flowers and trees we've been planting.
We also have a foue-legged, furry children. Our precious Pepper Dog (3); the sweetest little Chihuahua! She LOVES playing "ball"; can she run!! We also have two cats, Tasha Rae (17) and Cricket Kitty (10).
Of course we love our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Oh. I can't forget all the birds that come to feed. We really like our Hummingbirds and Gold Finch and we have A LOT of Chicadees. I forgot to mention that I collect GREEN FROGS and Papa collects EAGLES.
We enjoy spending quiet evenings in our swing with a lighted canopy and floating candles in our little pond. We also have a lighted umbrella on our deck if we choose to spend time there.
