GOOD MORNING...SEEMS I'VE BEEN ON THIS COMPUTER EVER SINCE I LEFT YOU LAST BUT NOT DOING WHAT I WANT TO DO BUT TRYING TO FIX ONE OF MY SITES THAT I STILL CANNOT GET INTO. I CAN'T GET INTO IT TO CHECK MY COMMENTS OR DO ANYTHING. IT'S SO FRUSTRATING. IT'S BEEN ALMOST A MONTH SINCE I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ACCESS IT....SO FINALLY AFTER MUCH LOST SLEEP AND ENERGY I JUST GAVE UP AND EMAILED THE COMPANY TO SEE IF THEY WOULD HELP ME. SOMETIMES I DON'T KNOW WHY I TRY AND TRY INSTEAD OF ASKING FOR HELP BEFORE I LOSE SO MUCH SLEEP OVER IT NOT COUNTING THE WEAR AND TEAR ON MY EYES. WELL I DIDN'T MEAN TO WRITE AND COMPLAIN I WANTED TO SAY HELLO AND I HAVE MISSED YOU AND WANTED TO SEE HOW EVERYTHING IS GOING AT YOUR PLACE. ALL IS FINE AT MINE. THE WEATHER IS GOOD...MY YARD IS REALLY LOOKING GREAT. MY FLOWERS ARE ALL IN BLOOM AND I AM LOVING SITTING OUTSIDE WATCHING ALL GOD'S CREATIONS OPEN UP AND COME ALIVE. PRETTY SOON IT WILL BE SUMMER AND IT WILL BE TOO HOT FOR ME TO SIT OUT THERE SO I AM TAKING IT ALL IN NOW WHILE I CAN. Today I stumbled and once again Was lifted up by an unseen hand. What comfort and joy that knowledge brings For I hear the whisper of angel wings. The guardian angels God sends to all To bear us up when we stumble and fall. Trust Him, my friend, and often you'll hear The whisper of angel wings hovering near.....Hello my sweet friend. It's been a long time since I've been around to visit you. Hope all is well with you and yours. Wanted to stop by and wish you a wonderful week and that God's angels will surround you and protect you from all harm. I know His angels have been with me this past weekend and certainly kept watch over me. God's love and peace has surrounded me and I have felt God's arms around me. What would we do without God and His mercy and grace to help up when we fall. He is always there to pick us up and lets us know to keep on, keeping on for Him and never, never give up. The last few days have been beautiful here in Texas. I have sit out on my front porch and taken in all the fresh spring air that God has so graciously given us. As I was sitting on the porch one day a bird happen to fly right in front of me from my arch that is in my flower garden there by the front porch. I looked over just to the side of where I was sitting and what did I behold but a bird's nest with two little birds with their heads sticking up and their mouths opened waiting to be fed. It sure startled me for a moment because I looked over on top of my house and there sit the mama and daddy birds on the roof looking right down at me. Then they would swope right down in front of me as if to say "get away from my babies". Now I don't know what to do with the nest or birds because I love sitting on my porch but feel threatened by the mama and daddy birds. I wonder if we move the nest to some other tree if they will be ok or will the parents not have anything to do with the baby birds if we move them? I am going to call someone to try to move it because I can't even go out my front door. I walk on a walker so I am not very steady on my feet. What a mess to be in. I don't want to do anything that would hurt the baby birds so I don't know what to do? Well my dear friend you be blessed and have a wonderful Tuesday. Love 'N' Hugs...gerri

REMEMBER HIS ARMS ARE THERE TO CATCH US WHEN WE FALL AND THINGS COME OUR WAY THAT WE DON'T UNDERSTAND. HE LOVES US SO MUCH THAT HE WANTS US TO HAVE THE DESIRES OF OUR HEART. GOOD MORNING MY FRIEND....I APPRECIATE YOUR FRIENDSHIP SO MUCH. HERE IS A POEM I MAY HAVE SENT BEFORE BUT CAME ACROSS IT TODAY AND THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY CUTE SO WANTED TO SHARE IT WITH YOU. HOPE YOU ENJOY. I TALK TO ME I TALK TO ME A LOT THESE DAYS ABOUT THE THINGS I DO. I FIND THAT I QUITE OFTEN NEED A SERIOUS TALKING TO. "GET THOSE SHOULDERS BACK" I SAY TO ME, AS I START DOWN THE HALL. I GET THEM BACK AND START MY TREK; AND HOPE I WILL NOT FALL. I SAY TO ME, WHEN I AWAKE, AND THE PAIN IS REALLY BAD, "REMEMBER MANY HAVE MORE PAIN THAN I HAVE EVER HAD." IT REALLY IS ANNOYING NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY SAY AND I WONDER IF I ANSWERED IN SOME STUPID WAY. THEN I TELL ME TO REMEMBER STUPID ANSWERS ARE NOT NEW. SOMETIMES WHEN I STILL HEARD WELL, I MADE STUPID ANSWERS TOO. I NEED A READING GLASS THESE DAYS AND SO I SAY TO ME, "BE VERY THANKFUL I CAN READ, MANY CANNOT EVEN SEE." I TELL ME I SHOULD EXERCISE THOUGH I'D RATHER SIT AND READ BUT IF I WANT TO KEEP MY SRENGTH WHAT IT TELLS ME I MUST HEED. I CAN STILL WALK AND SEE AND HEAR THOUGH NOT AS IT USED TO BE. I FIND IT REALLY HELPS A LOT THE TIMES I TALK TO ME. ....Phil Colburn PHIL COLBURN IS A WIDOW, NINETY-NINE YEARS OLD. SHE WRITES POETRY TO KEEP HER MIND CLEAR, PENNING A POEM EACH MONTH FOR HER CHURCH NEWSLETTER. WHAT A TESTIMONY...I PRAY THAT WHEN I AM NINETY-NINE I WILL BE ABLE TO DO WHAT THIS DEAR SWEET LADY DOES TO BLESS OTHERS. STILL BEING USED OF GOD, DOING WHAT SHE DOES SO WELL. WELL...YOU BE BLESSED IN SO MANY WAYS AND HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND WITH GOD'S PEACE, JOY AND LOVE BEING WITH YOU. WE ARE HAVING SOME STRONG WINDS HERE WHERE I LIVE BLOWING NEARLY EVERYTHING OVER. THE PICTURE OF THE WATER RAGING WITH GOD'S HANDS STRETCHED OUT OVER IT AS IF TO SAY WINDS BE STILL; THAT'S WHAT I AM PRAYING THAT GOD WILL CALM THE WINDS. BUT OTHER THAN THAT WE ARE HAVING BEAUTIFUL WEATHER. WE DID HAVE A VERY HOT DAY THIS WEEK. ON WEDNESDAY IT WAS 94 DEGREES. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO HAVE FOR A SUMMER IF IT IS ALREADY GETTING UP IN THE 90'S. THE REST OF THE WEEK HAS BEEN IN THE 80'S AND REALLY NICE. GUESS I HAD BETTER MOVE ALONG SO I CAN GET OR TRY TO GET SOME SLEEP. I HAD MINOR SURGERY TUESDAY AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP SINCE. THE MOST SLEEP I HAVE HAD IS LIKE A COUPLE OF HOURS AT ONE TIME BUT I NEED AT LEAST SIX HOURS OF GOOD SLEEP. IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT PLEASE PRAY THAT GOD WILL GIVE ME SOME GOOD SLEEP. HELLO MY FRIEND...JUST WANTED TO STOP BY TO SAY GOOD MORNING AND MAY YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY THAT GOD HAS BLESSED US WITH TODAY. WE HAD A COLD SPELL COME IN TONIGHT AROUND MIDNIGHT SO IT IS VERY COLD IN HERE RIGHT NOW. IN FACT I THINK I AM GOING TO TURN THE HEAT ON. YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD NEED THE AIR ON BUT IF I AM COLD THEN I AM GOING TO GET WARM. MY HANDS ARE SO COLD I CAN HARDLY TYPE. WE JUST GOT THROUGH GOING THROUGH SPRING FOR A FEW DAYS SO I GUESS IT'S TIME FOR A FEW DAYS OF WINTER. IT'S BEEN SWITCHING BACK AND FORTH BUT THAT'S OK BECAUSE I KNOW THAT GOD IS IN CONTROL SO WHETHER IT'S COLD OR HOT WE CAN USE OUR HEAT OR AIR. OH HOW MUCH WE TAKE FOR GRANTED. THANK GOD THAT WE ARE BLESSED WITH SO MANY CONVENIENCES. GOD IS SO GOOD TO US. WELL GUESS I'LL CLOSE FOR THIS MORNING SO I CAN GO TO BED AND GET A FEW HOURS OF GOOD SLEEP. Wouldn't this world be better, If folks whom we meet would say, "I know something good about you," And treat you just that way? Wouldn't it be splendid, If each handshake, good and true, Carried with it this assurance: "I know something good about you?" Wouldn't life be happier. If the good that's in us all, Were the only thing about us That people would recall? Wouldn't our days be sweeter, If we praised the good we see? For there is a lot of goodness, In the worst of you and me. Wouldn't it be fine to practice, This way of thinking too; You know something good about me, I know something good about you? "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."......Ephesians 4:29 What a good idea if we could be like that and always say good about people rather than saying anything bad...but it's so sad that the thing hardest to control about us is our tongues. But if we just think "Use our brains" before we speak then we would always say the good things instead of bad. Most of us never want to hurt anyone's feelings so it would make for a better world. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY...MY DEAR FRIEND Hope you have a good, good day today and an even better weekend. I know I am ready for this weekend...how about you? Although I don't work and have plenty of time for rest during the week I look forward to the weekends because that is usually when my children come to see me. And I enjoy visiting with them so very much. Well I'm hoping your Valentines Day will be Special for you and your significant other or if you don't have one like me then maybe your children will make it Special. WOW...It's been a long time since I have been to see you and once again I am so sorry...just seems time fly by and before you know it a month has gone by. But please don't think just because I have not been around that I don't think of you. I have so many friends and at night I do remember them in my prayers and wished that I could have gotten on the computer and sent a comment to all of them that day. Some nights I will get on the computer and check my sites but cannot stay on the computer because of my legs. I am having to keep them elevated most of the time thus that makes my time on the computer very little. I am praying that I will be able to get me a laptop pretty soon which would solve the problem. I have tried every way in the world to elevate my feet while I am on the computer to keep them from swelling and turning red but with no avail. Anyway enough of my problems...but please continue to remember me in your prayers. I am in therapy right now for three days a week and it seems to be helping the redness and the blisters on them so that's good because that helps the pain. Hope you are doing well and staying warm. Hello my friend....Hope your weekend was a good one and you will have a great week. Just a funny little story I heard and wanted to tell it to you. A mother was having a hard time getting her son out the door and on his way to school one morning. Her son complained, "Nobody likes me at school. The teachers don't and the kids don't. The superintendent wants to transfer me, the school board wants me to drop out, and the custodians have it is for me. I don't want to go! You've got to go," insisted his mother. "You're healthy. You've got a lot to learn. You've got something to offer others. You're a leader. Besides you're the principal of the thing!" School....how we all need it but hate to go. We like the end results of an education but none of us really likes the process. And how about a word of appreciation for schoolteachers and administrators...then follow it up with a prayer for them. "SCHOOL DAYS CAN BE THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF YOUR LIFE...IF YOUR KIDS ARE OLD ENOUGHT TO ATTEND!!" "These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk aong the road, when you lie down and when you get up. (Deut. 6:6-7).

MORNING MY FRIEND...HOW ARE YOU ON THIS BEAUTIFUL THURSDAY MORNING? JUST WANTED TO STOP AND LET YOU KNOW I WAS THINKING OF YOU AND WONDERING IF YOU ARE ENJOYING WEATHER LIKE IT IS HERE IN TEXAS???
