Bio
Jeff Harding is Christian artist/songwriter presently recording his new cd titled "accused". He is 37 years old, married to a beautiful wife named Joanie and they have two sons Drew (2) and Cole (1). The boys are 10 months and 6 days apart!!! Irish Twins. lol
Jeff spends time recording and writing in his home studio as well as touring midwest colleges and music festivals. An accomplished guitarist, he also plays bass. He does alot of the tracks on his recordings himself, but also uses percussion generators. Most of his music is acoustically driven but he's been know to plug in and tear it up from time to time. His message and ministry he brings to the campuses of the heartland, are based on his life experiences. A veteran of the Army's 82nd Airborne and the Gulf War, he uses his lessons learned at an early age in life and his willingness to finally lay it all down before Jesus Christ to reach those that keep telling themselves "Someday". By bringing them a message that focuses on the great things God has instore for each and every one of them, he works to erase the "someday" mentality and urges them to not put off a promise of salvation. "The promise was made to each and everyone of us. A promise to be kept by our Father. All we need to do is stop running...When faced with fear...we run. Anxiety...we run. Challenges...we run. Failures...we run. and finally at some point in our lives we come to realize...We arent running from the fear, and failures, we are running away from God. Because if we chose to stand with Him at our side, none of these things could defeat us. A future of uncertainty becomes clear. Second guessing becomes non existant when a relationship with Jesus Christ is present in our lives. Once we realize this and simply lay it down before Him, the want to run subsides. We become comfortable and confidant with where we stand and that restless spirit turns to peace." These are the messages and the foundation of what Jeff brings to these campuses. "It's our choice...for if it were up to God, each of us would of never of taken the first step away from Him. After being hit by a drunk driver, I had an experience that lasted for months. One that made me realize that if I were to not see tomorrow here on earth....where would tomorrow be spent?..Thats when I started to turn it over to Christ and quit the years and years of running away from him...and all the distance I covered after running for so long, I traveled the same path back without taking a step...not one single step...I simply knelt down and gave up....I laid all the confusion, restlessness, sadness, everything I could find within me that I felt was keeping me from knowing Him the way He wanted me to know Him. And in one short moment, saying one short prayer, the distance I had created was erased and He was at my side."
Most of Jeff's music is built around that message. If you would like to get ahold of him, send him a pm or email. He will be done with the new CD and back on the road in early April of 07.
