Some of my favorite movies include:
The Passion of the Christ, Edge of the Spear, Somewhere in Time, The Sound of Music, Steel Magnolia's, Cast Away, Into the Blue, White Squall, The Perfect Storm, The Beach, Titanic, A River Runs Through It, Meet Joe Black, The Postman, Dances With Wolves, Braveheart, The Silence of the Lambs, Forest Gump, The Prince of Egypt, A Beatiful Mind, Beaches, Themla and Louise, Finding Nemo, Narnia, Shrek, It's a Bug's Life, etc. I like movies that are funny (in a cute, not silly or nasty way), movies that touch my heart, movies based on true stories and almost all movies that deal with the ocean, the beach, the tropics, etc. :)

I like Christian music ... mostly contemporary Christian, Praise and Worship and some Gospel. I like some oldies and some songs that are tropical/Hawaiian, etc.
Some Christian artists that I really like are:
Martha Munizzi, Mary Alessi, Karen Wheaton, Juanita Bynum, Selah, Nicol Sponberg, Natalie Grant, Judy Jacobs, Janie Aduddell, Casting Crowns, Hillsongs, Don Moen, Ginger Smith, Babbie Mason, Jeremy Camp, Jaci Velasquez, Ray Boltz, Nicole C. Mullen, Dennis Jernigan, Twila Paris, Rebecca St.James, Michael W. Smith, Keith Green, Darlene Z., Phillips, Craig and Dean, Kristy Starling, and Donnie McClurkin.
Will and Crystal Yates are new artists that have just released their first CD ("Dwell Here") and they are totally awesome!

My hobbies/interests are:
Shelling, beachcombing, snorkeling, metal detecting on the beach, doing jigsaw puzzles on the computer, playing with graphics on the computer, shopping (esp. for shoes) hehehe ;) ... I like taking photos, writing and when I'm really bored, I like doing word search books. ;)

My favorite book of all is the Bible. I also like a lot of Christian authors. My favorite book other than the Bible is "My Whispers" - 'A Most Unusual Collection of Poetic Vignettes of the Holy Spirit's whispers directly to you through Susan E. Waldrop' This book really touches me to the deepest part of my soul.
Some of my other favorite authors include:
Beth Moore, Joyce Meyer, Stormie Omartian, Max Lucado, Kay Arthur, C.S. Lewis, Henry Cloud, Charles Stanley, James Dobson, T.D. Jakes, Neil T. Anderson, Henry Blackaby, Robert McGee, and Ann Kagarise.

My name is Candy and I belong to Jesus! I've been married for 21 years. We have no children but we have four Havanese dogs that are our 'babies'. We live in a small town in south central Mississippi. My mother in law and sister in law both live with us, so it's often like a circus here. LOL ;) I have one brother and two sisters, who are all much older than me. So, even at my age, I'm still "the baby." ;)
I love Jesus more than anything and although I am far, far from perfect, I do my best to live for Him. He is my ALL. He is Who I want to please. He is my Savior, my friend and my Father.

I like the beach ... no, I love the beach! I love anything dealing with the ocean and the sand. I like the feel of the sand between my toes. I like listening to the waves as they kiss the shore. I like the smell of the ocean. I love to snorkel and beachcomb and I really like snorkeling for seashells. I think I would really like to live on a tiny island that is fairly isolated ... with my family and many friends. ;)
I like people who are honest, genuine, sincere, understanding and caring. I like studying the Bible and learning more about God's amazing love for us. I like traveling, fellowshipping with other Christians, walking on the beach, sitting on the beach and watching the dolphins play.
I like to smell rain, I like thunderstorms (safe ones), I like the smell of freshly mowed grass, roses and puppy breath. I like snow (although we hardly ever get snow here), I like to x-c ski, I like to play tennis (although I am too out of shape and too old to play now), I like playing with or just snuggling with my "babies" (my dogs). I love all of God's beautiful nature. I love watching the clouds, the stars at night, sunrises and sunsets. I like the way the rain makes all the colors of trees and grass and flowers seem so much richer. I love all people (although I might not like all the things people do or say, etc).
