I love good Christian reading which of course has the Bible in first place by a long shot, Pilgrim's Progress,The Grace Awakening, My Utmost for His Highest..and oddly, Stephen King and Dean Koontz( both of whom are fellow Christians) as I love to see how good prevails over all kinds of evil.I also love to read books by either Maeve Binchy or Rosamund Pilcher.

I am a single mom of six wonderful children who have all made the personal decision to accept Jesus as their Savior and their Lord. Having gone through many refining " trials" I was able to take courses on Christian counseling and receive my certificate. The Lord has been, and will remain- my ALL!

Making new friends, picnics in the park, good movies, great conversations, setting and keeping goals,a clean home(though I dislike getting it to that point), animals, butterflies, justice and mercy....AND '57 CHEVY BELAIRS.............
Rudeness and arrogance, pride, and laughing at another's mistakes. Keeping track of who wronged who instead of forgiving and moving on. Those who think Christians are perfect or have to live by a set of rules and regulations. Not taking a stand...bats
Dear God.....
It is just me again.
You know I have this group of friends
That I need you to take care of and watch over.
They are not from my town,
And most are not even in the same state/province,
In fact there are some that live in a different country.
They are scattered all over the world.
I met them on the Internet.
We send e-mails to each other,
And some I have even spoken to on the phone,
But most of them, we will never meet face to face,
However there are a few
That I have been lucky enough to share a real hug with.
It does not matter if we have met
Or not these people are my friends.
There is so much going on in the world,
And it scares me,
You see I care about these friends that I have met,
And God that is why I am asking you
T o please watch over them and protect them.
I would never have imagined that
I could care and even love someone
That I have only met online.
The truth is loving and truly caring about a person
Begins in the heart, and it stays inside of the heart.
I ask you God to give my friends
Health, happiness and peace,
Please take care of them, and guide them.
Through the Internet
I have been so blessed to have found friends
From all over the world.
I have learned that although some of us
Have different beliefs and we live differently, ..
We are so much alike,
All hoping for the same things in life,
True happiness.
Please God,
Bless each one of these friends
That have touched my life in one way or another.
Forgive those God that have hurt others,
Help them learn the true meaning of
Love and Friendship.
I know that each person
That I have met through the Internet
Has been placed in my path for a reason,
So I ask you once again God,
Protect them, guide them,
Keep them safe, love them and
Bless them throughout the Day,Week,

Dear Heavenly Father, I do want to be close to You, so help me to spend the time in prayer, and reading Your Word in order to make that a reality. And Lord, when You do speak something to my heart, help me to obey You and not resist the things You are asking me to do. Lord, I also want to be a peacemaker, so fill my mouth with Your Words of wisdom when I encounter an opportunity to minister to those who are opposed to each other.
