Well I am a horror nut and always have been. I guess the Lord made me that way huh??? I love to see what kind of special makeup effects they can come up with. I guess I watch them for that reason because they never scare me LOL. The Passion of the Christ was a moving movie for me as it was I am sure for all born again Christians. This movie moved me as none other has before it. My hats off to Mr Gibson for having the courage to make such a film and make our Saviours miracle of death and rebirth so real. As a child we always hear of his death but it is so matter of fact so we get used to hearing it I think, but here we could watch them tear the flesh from his body and that moved me so totaly. I really beleive he tamed it down some compared to what it was actually, We are so not worthy of that but Praise God he sent his Son to give us the gift of Salvation!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well now being a true music lover I tend to like it all. Let me explain I was involved with my stepsons desire to start a youth ministry for there is a great need for such a thing here in our little community. He loves that kind of music that makes most adults wince in pain at the volume alone.*grins* but that night I seen kids praising the Lord and souls reached and saved. So here is the deal. The music type may not be to your liking and you may even scowl, and thats ok but if you don't understand it, then the message was not meant for you in the first place but for another soul out there that needed it.
I came to this realization after a concert my band and I gave. During that concert we did a song that we have done hundreds of times and new inside out. But for some reason the bass man and singer of that song went somewhere none of us knew where but we followed right along. The tempo was unlike anything I have ever been a part of and I have been singing since I was 12 on stage anyway. After the show my brother (the bassist) comes up and says man I am sorry I do not know where that came from. While we were giggling about how we had all just followed along and it sounded as if that is the way it should have been, a man comes up to us and proceeds to try and tell us that the song moved him and that he was blessed by it so much. He was so excited that he was just talking 90 to nothing lol. We were stunned and this is why. The man had a handicap, both mentally and vocally. He acted as it this was the first time he actually understood fully what the message was and that is was intended just for him. Praise the Lord we allowed him to use us and did not stop and change the tempo.!
Anyway, I love music mainly southern gospel and counrty gospel. What is on my page is the following.
