In 1973-75 I was with a band. If you'd like to check out some songs, Click Here
If you'd like to listen to some of my songs, I loaded 32 in the media player below.
To advance the song list in the media player below, click on the right arrow. To play, click the bottom arrow. If you can't see the player with the songs (it looks like an IPOD), it may be because you don't have the latest version of Adobe Flash player installed in your browser.
A few videos of me. One was filmed in 1989 by Bruce, one of the guys in our neighborhood and all the others were filmed in 1991 by my husband Johnny on our neighbor's camcorder. Pretty scratchy. Copied them over from VCR tapes. And there is also one of Johnny.
(If the video stops and starts, just hit the "Pause" button and let it load for a few seconds and then hit "Play" again.) And, once again, I believe the Adobe Flash player is required to view the videos also.
This was filmed in the Bronx one summer night in 1989 at the park on Bronx Park East just south of Lydig Ave in the Pelham Parkway area. Some friends of ours were putting on a concert in the neighborhood and they asked me to play while they were on their break. It was filmed by Bruce who brought his camcorder and was nice enough to give me a copy of the tape.
Bio:
I've been saved since 1974. Or should I say, that's when I knew I was saved. How did I know I was saved? Because I spoke in tongues. (Yes, every Christian can speak in tongues. For more, see blog entries above)
And since then, I have been on a path that sometimes makes you feel like you are on top of the world and sometimes leads you to say: "what the heck is going on in my life!"
But you keep on keepin' on because you know God loves you. How do you know God loves you? Because He gave His only begotten son (a.k.a. Jesus) that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. That's the foundation and it never fluctuates no matter what you are going through.
Ok Back to the bio. Pretty average person, once I got religion out of my system (a work in progress). And by religion, I don't mean devoutness, as the word "religion" is usually defined. I mean man-made rules designed to bind the person up with unnecessary burdens as well as derail them from the path towards truth. Or, as Jesus put it "they put heavy burdens on the people's shoulders and yet they won't move them with one of their fingers."(Matthew 23:4) He also said that they shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for they don't go in, neither permit those who are entering to go in but rather, they hinder them from entering. (Matthew 23:13)
I remember when they came out with the "un-religion" back in the 70's. They knew that we were on to organized religion so they approached us from a new angle. They taught us of the failure of the religious approach to God while positively asserting that their group was not a religion. Thought you were safe but, dang it, it was just religion in disguise again. A good lesson learned. It's not what they say but what they do that counts.
Anyhow, all I can say is, it just feels good to be a person again and not some "perfect" one.
I've been through a lot and my learning process has been hard. Maybe that's how it is for everybody but, for some reason, most of the people I know (excluding my husband Johnny) don't seem to be going through the same process, so I almost always feel like an alien around them. But, there is an upside to that. It helps with the "trying to fit in" malady that we're all plagued with. I now understand that I will never fit in but that's good. It has been quite freeing. I am now cut loose to be who I am.
The man with his arm around me is Johnny, my hub of over 32 years. He is also my best friend. I love you J.
Fulfillment in the New Year
Here’s to the outgoing year, 2007:
May the good times live on in our memories,
and may we learn lessons from the troubling times
that will make us stronger and better than ever.
Here’s to 2008: For each and every one of you,
may it be filled with significant steps
toward the fulfillment of your fondest wishes.
In this coming new year, let us focus on our goals
and work toward our dreams, and yet let’s all try to go
with the flow a little more and stress a little less.
And most important, here’s to all of you.
Appreciate yourselves and each other in the new year
as I appreciate all of you now.
Let’s focus on each other’s good points
and choose to overlook minor annoyances
to create mutual happiness and contentment in 2008.
Here’s to 2008 Enjoy the journey!

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your many blessings, and help me to be content with Your daily provision in my life. May we all be content with Your daily provisions. Thank You for Your wonderful gifts of love, joy and peace, which cannot be purchased with any amount of money. I am most grateful. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, I do want to be close to You, so help me to spend the time in prayer, and reading Your Word in order to make that a reality. And Lord, when You do speak something to my heart, help me to obey You and not resist the things You are asking me to do. Lord, I also want to be a peacemaker, so fill my mouth with Your Words of wisdom when I encounter an opportunity to minister to those who are opposed to each other. Also, help me to remain in peace with those in my circle of acquaintances. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Just stopping by, to let you know how much I appreciate your friendship Thank You ☺
Have a great weekend and hope you're doing well.
